About time; and Thankful

Share what you have personally been dealing with the last six weeks. What I have been dealing with is time management. I know this is something that has to be tweaked continually. First, the days of seminar change from course to course and the basic routines have to change occasionally. I think I have made the proper adjustments when needed thanks to the support. Secondly, thank God for my wife who not only brings home the bacon but has patiently understood and supported my choice in going back to school. Having previously discussed our options before I actually enrolled in Kaplan, she has maintained her encouraging enthusiasm throughout this time. So for all of you who have that love and support or that inspiration that gives you the ability to continue going forward, I’d like to commend you and ask that you thank that person for their support, even if it’s in a small way. I’ll start by saying thank you to all of you who have extended themselves or have pulled me up or out of the doldrums or have taught me something educationally or of myself. I really am enjoying the experience and relationships I’ve come to have through this medium. Well maybe I have not enjoyed the “schoolwork” always (lol) but I know when all is said and done we will reap the benefits and so will our family and loved ones, of the sacrifice(s) we have made. Continued success to you all. (Can you see the finish line yet)? :o)

  1. Your appreciation of your wife's support warms my heart completely! I agree wholeheartedly that families should be thanked profusely for helping us reach our educational goals, which in the end will also benefit them. I have felt a tremendous period of personal growth in this class over the last 6 weeks and am grateful for being pushed outside my comfort zone a bit with this scientific research paper. It has demanded a lot of effort and time, but I am grateful to God for giving me the "strength beyond what is normal" to persist in keeping grades up and 4 children cared for! With him on our side, we not only succeed, but we can succeed with great happiness....:)
